Assess and evaluate the contingency plans based upon any exercise activity or <br /> <br />e implementation for an actual drought or shortage occurrence. <br /> <br />2 A 3. Assess and evaluate the contingency plans to accommodate increased demand based on <br /> <br />population, economic changes or other factors. <br /> <br />2 A 4. Incorporate a statistical report on dry periods in Colorado and a background section on the <br /> <br />history of droughts particularly the 1930's and 1950's. Include a summary of population <br /> <br />projections and of drought in the basins. <br /> <br />Obiective B: Based upon the Colorado water year of 2000, the contractor will investigate the <br /> <br />location and quantity of the water by categories of use including agricultural, municipal and <br /> <br />industrial, recreation, etc. and by the source of the water. The reserve or carryover capacity will <br /> <br />. also be determined. <br /> <br />Tasks: . <br /> <br />2 B I.Review all prior studies, surveys, and databases in order to ascertain every major <br /> <br />source of water supply and use profile in the state. Incorporate the input of an advisory committee <br /> <br />composed of various state and Federal agencies, academic interests, associations, etc. the agencies <br /> <br />will include, but are not limited to: <br /> <br />The Colorado Department of Natural Resources, the Office of the State Engineer, the Office <br /> <br />of Emergency Management, the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Local Affairs, <br /> <br />the Office of the State Climatologist, the Office df the Attorney General, the Colorado <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />5 <br />
