building, with a cOIlllIlUIlity meeting room, and a library. and museum and
so forth, under one roof, that we could save money and also offer much
better services.'

Item number eight is parks and recreation facilities. This is an
endeavor at the current time from the basis of an improvement district.
However, it is closely related with plans for the school system.

I

. -
Item nine is a vocational education facility. We find that industry is
behind this item and the 'vast need for increased employment in the _
area, primarily in the energy industry, will require training because
we have already nearly exhausted our local.employment base. "

. , ,
And the last item we had, number ten, was additional school facilities.

Another'item about the community. We have recently fought for and
received authorization to increase the budget for the community by sixty
percent for 1977. And,this is one part in our own effort to try.to
take care of as-many problems as we can. However, we have more -than:we
feel that we can tackle.

If there is any question, I might ask our engineer - if there are,_;ap.y
technical questions on' the facilities and 'so forth, I would direct them
to our-engineer who has made.our water feasibility and waste water
studies. - ' ,

.
MR; : STAPLETON: :Are there"any questions in regard to the Hayden project?

MR. BENTON: What about metering? I don't see anything in.here about
water meters. -Are 'you planning on that? " '

.
MR. CARPENTER: Yes, there is an item in there on metering.
MR. STAPLETON: Any.further questions?
(No response.),
MR. STAPLETON: Thank you very ,much.

I will now entertain a motion on the Hayden project.

MR. FETCHER: 'I will so move, it being in sort of my territory, and I
know very well the problems that they are having the're. I would move
approval of the Hayden project.

MR. BENTON: I will second it.

I

MR. STAPLETON: Any further giscussion?
(No response)

All those in favor, :signify by saying "Aye; II
(Unanimous "Ayes.
