project, I think, is now virtually completed.
We are right at the tail end of the Colorado-
Big Thompson Project as far as construction is
concerned and this is merely some improvement
in the existing system, $244,000 construction.

The COllbran, the item there of $534,162
will virtually complete that project. The
Grand Valley is a rehabilitation construction
program and I am not sure whether this amount
will complete it or whether this is just a
start with the program."

The Curecanti is $4,500,000 for the
forthcoming year. I don't know whether you
caught it or not but there was a significant
item in the report that Mr. Jennings gave
that I was encouraged to hear because I hadn't
heard it before either. That is that the
award of bids for the prime contract at Blue
Mesa Dam is now accelerated to the spring of
1962, about a year from now. Previous esti-
mates were considerably further back than
that. At one time we had an estimate of 1963
on that and then we had the fall of 1962 and
now we have the spring of 1962, which is all
to the good.
