"Well, I can't recall from memory here.
I'm quite certain that they were relatively
well pleased with the bids that were received.
But I do not have any detailed information as
to the status of the award and those things."

"Mr. Chairman, I would like to ask Bob,
(possibly it's too early), if he could tell us
something about what those water right filings
by the Rocky Mountain Power Company is going
to do to the Yellow Jacket. It may be too
early to answer this."

"As I mentioned, we have completed our
report. It is subject to final checking and
publishing. I would rather reserve detailed
comments on that until after that report has
been published. However, there is some con-
flict between the two proposals. In normal
years the two projects could be operated with
no serious conflicts. In years such as 1954,
there would be some conflicts in the two pro-
posals . "

"I would just say that that meeting was
called on a day of the worst storm that we
have ever had in northwest Colorado this year.
Larry was supposed to come over but the plane
was grounded and Bob took charge of the meet-
ing and did a wonderful job, I thought.

In spite of the storm we had good repre-
sentation from both of the conservancy dis-
tricts. There weren't a lot of people there
but the people who were vital to the two
projects were there and Bob did do a fine job
in conducting the meeting."
