JENNINGS:

,

and in the not too distant future I think we
will be coming to some conclusion on that so
that Crown Zellerbach can appraise the value
of a contract for water out of Green Mountain
and determine whether they want to go that
route in securing a water supply for their
paper development on the West Slope.

1

The studies on the Colorado-Big Thompson
Project are just getting under way. I think it is included in your port-
folios. I'll try and brief that for you.
The report is in about three or four parts.
It includes the construction of the storage
units, construction activity on the partici-
pating projects, other projects in Colorado
not of the participating projects, work on
advanced planning, work on feasibility inves-
tigations, and also work on reconnaissance,
as well as investigations of existing proj-
ects.

1

I think all you gentlemen are aware of
the recent directive in the speedup of Bureau
work, particularly any work that can be gotten
under contract within the next 18 months
