<br />o An embankment dam approximately 160 feet in height <br />above the foundation with a crest length of 2,700 <br />feet. <br /> <br />o The reservoir, with a normal maximum water surface at <br />elevation 5070, would extend about 9.7 miles upstream <br />from the dam site. The surface area at this elevation <br />would be 4,230 acres. The reservoir would have an <br />active storaqe capacity of 189,000 acre-feet above the <br />minimum pool level (elevation 4975). <br /> <br />o A gated spillway located on the south abutment of the <br />dam designed to pass the PMF. <br /> <br />o An intake structure which would admit flows from the <br />reservoir at various levels (selective withdrawals) so <br />that adjustments in downstream water temperatures <br />could be made. <br /> <br />o An outlet works for conveying normal reservoir releases <br />through the dam consistinq of two 11-foot diameter <br />reinforced concrete, steel-lined, conduits. <br /> <br />o An indoor-type powerhouse containing two Kaplan <br />turbines drivinq vertically mounted qenerators.
