In your folders you will see a report
from Region 5. I don't believe there is a
representative from Region 5 here today.
Larry, would you like to comment on any aspects
of Region 5's report?"

"The only change in the Region 5 report,
it states here that the Commissioner's pro-
posed report on the Closed Basin Division of
the San Luis Valley Project was being consid-
ered by the Commissioner's office. That report
has now been approved by the commissioner's
office and the Secretary of the Interior and
was received by us just this week. We now have
90 days, under the law, to comment upon that
proposed report. The report was circulated to
the States of Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas."

"Larry, were there any comments or addi-
tions or corrections to the report as sub-
mitted?"

"No, it was essentially the same as it
was originally submitted. We have only two
copies of that report. I don't know whether
or not copies were sent to any of the agencies
in the San Luis Valley. If not, we'll have
to get additional copies."

"Any other comments on Region 5's report?

Then I'd like to call on Mr. Odell for
the U. S. G. S. Mr. Odell."

"Mr. Chairman, members of the Board, and
guests, streamflow records at key gaging
stations indicate that runoff during the 1964
water year was generally about 80 percent of
normal. Runoff from most of the mountain areas
was somewhat above normal during July and August
