METZGER <br />Attorney General <br /> <br />Ji'IM:L <br /> <br />Mr. Breitenstein was present and stated that the arrangement, <br />evidenced by the foregoing letter, was acceptable. <br /> <br />The letter from the Attorney General provided that the com- <br />pensation for the services of Mr. Breitenstein must be determined by the <br />Board and payment therefor made from funds appropriated to the Board. <br />This matter was discussed and considered by the Board. <br /> <br />It was moved by MI'. Beaty and seconded by Mr. Smith <br />that the Board fix the salary of Jean S. Breitenstein, under <br />the arrangement expressed in the foregoing letter, at $6,000 <br />a year, payable in equal amounts each month that he serves <br />under such appointment; and that the Director be authorized <br />to approve vouchers therefor. <br /> <br />A vote was taken and the foregoing motion was unani- <br />mously carried and declared adopted. <br /> <br />I <br />l <br />~ <br /> <br />Thereupon there was inserted in the minutes, proceedings taken <br />in the earlier Executive Session of the Board as follows: <br /> <br />It was moved by Judge Hughes and seconded, by MI'. Headlee <br />that neither the Director of the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board, nor members of his staff, including attorneys assigned <br />to the Board, shall take any action or publicly express <br />policies with respect to the functions and activities of the <br />Board, delegated to it by statute, without such policies and <br />activities having been determined in advance and authorized <br />by the Board. <br /> <br />f'''i'> <br />.,",~ <br /> <br />"-.~ <br />
