<br />~.vv <br /> <br />in May and then raise to about 898,000 acre- <br />feet in July. <br /> <br />As far as operations are concerned, Glen <br />Canyon probably will remain at the minimum <br />power pool until the spring runoff of 1966. <br />As far as the storage was concerned, on February <br />7th there was 6,215,000 acre-feet. With the <br />spring runoff we anticipate very high bypasses <br />at this structure to restore Lake Mead to its <br />rated head. If the runoff that is now antici- <br />pated materializes, that level should be <br />reached sometime in July, 1965. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />As of February 1st, Lake Mead was at ele- <br />vation 1,090 or about 1-3/4 feet higher than <br />the minimum elevation reached on December 30, <br />1964. <br /> <br />Moving on to General Investigations, in- <br />cluding the last action taken on some of the <br />project reports, the Animas-La Plata report <br />was transmitted to the Bureau of the Budget on <br />April 10, 1964. The Dolores project feasibility <br />report was approved by the secretary on October <br />2, 1964, and has been sent out for comments <br />under the Flood Control Act. I understand this <br />time has now expired and not all of the comments <br />have been received. <br /> <br />On the Dallas Creek project we are in the <br />last stages of completing that report in our <br />field office. The report has to then be re- <br />viewed in our regional office and published. <br />This report is being reviewed in sections at <br />the present time and we hope it will be out <br />very shortly. We have received all revised' <br />reports from all cooperating agencies. <br /> <br />Our West Divide Project is scheduled to <br />follow immediately the completion of the Dallas <br />Creek project and should be completed within <br />this fiscal year. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I think, as I reported at the last Board <br />meeting, the San Miguel project is presently <br />proving its feasibility.
