developments on that project is the possibility
of including water for a thermal powerplant in
the San Miguel River area. This powerplant
would be planned by the Colorado-Ute Electric
Association.

On the Upper Gunnison Project we are
initiating work on that project consisting of
land classification, agricultural economy
studies, and water requirements. We are also
starting certain hydrology studies to determine
the possibility of coordinated operation between
the Taylor Park and Curecanti units.

The Battlement Mesa project is approximately
two-thirds finished and we hope to complete that
report in the last half of 1966.

The Bluestone,Grand Mesa and Yellow Jacket
Projects are just about on schedule.

As far as advance planning studies are con-
cerned, we are p~esently under way on both the
Bostwick Park and Fruitland Mesa P~ojects. The
Bostwick Park project, as you probably know,
has been included as a new construction start
and moneys are included for construction in the
President's budget. We are presently engaged
in negotiating with the conservancy district for
a repayment contract.

We anticipate starting advance planning
studies on the savery-pot Hook Project if the
money is allowed in the present budget.

On our small reclamation projects, the first
small project in Colorado was the Orchard City
Irrigation District and it is essentially com-
pleted. Final testing of the pumps is scheduled
for the 15th of February. Some little difficulty
has developed in one of the heat exchangers but
it is essentially finished and most of the plan-
ning has been completed. This project was com-
pleted well below the estimated cost and it is
hopeful that enough money will be left over for
a small amount of canal lining.
