I can't tell you how many fond memories most of
us have of Governor Ed at these Board meetings
and some of the hassles we had on the Colorado
River. I think it would be appropriate if we
stand for a minute in memory of Governor Johnson.

I was just going to say. Ival. that t don't
know what the upper Colorado River Commission
is doing on a resolution. We want one from the
Board, but it seems to me that a resolution
isn't entirely adequate to a person Who served
50 years and so forth. I'd like to get a particu-
larly good resolution and have it embossed or
whatever they do so that Mrs. Johnson and the
family could have it mean something. I am sure
it wouldn't cost much and the members of the
Board, I would judge, would like to contribute
a reasonable share of the cost. So if Ray has
consented to do a resolution for Governor Ed
along that line, I think we ought to make some
appropriate presentation to the family as soon
as it is done. I would like to have a motion
to that effect."

MR. STAPLETON: "It has been regularly moved and seconded.

opposed - unanimously carried. (See Appendix B).

We will now consider the agenda items of
this meeting. You have all received the minutes
of the Board meeting of April 1st. Are there
any additions or corrections to the minutes as
submitted to you?"
