COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD MEETING MINUTES
Summit Room, Quality Motor Hotel
Denver, Colorado

I

June 3, 1970

The meeting was called to order by Mr. Stapleton, Chairman,
at 10:00 A. M.

MR. STAPLETON:

"Ladies and gentlemen, we will call this
regularly scheduled meeting of the Colorado
Water Conservation Board to order. If the
lobbyists in the back of the room will quiet
down, we will proceed.

I would like to first let you know that
our very valued member, Craig Goodwin, did not
desire to be reappointed to this Board. If
you remember, during his tour of duty his wife
died. Craig has been an extremely valuable
member and of great counsel to this Board. I'd
like to have a motion at the beginning of the
meeting that we have our able attorney prepare
a suitable resolution to Craig for his service
to the Board."

MR. R.B. WILLIAMS: "I would so move."

MR. BERTHELSONI "I second."

MR. STAPLETON: "All those in favor signify by saying 'aye':
opposed - the motion is unanimously oarried.
(See Appendix A).

,I
I
I
I
I
,
I
I
i

Then I would like to introduce Lee E. Ford,
our newest member. Lee, would you stand up?
Lee is from Montrose, a banker and very active
in water matters. We are delighted to have you
with us on the Board."

MR. FORD:

"Thank you."

MR, STAPLETON:

"Then I think it would be appropriate -
Senator and Governor Ed C. Johnson, as you know,
