this and I have been told by many people
I shouldn't have come at all, that it
might not be a very profitable experience.

Be that as it may, whether it is
profitable in one way or another doesn't
really concern me so much as what we are
going to do in this state as a population
about our obligations under our compact.
Whether we are going to meet our obligations
or not and whether or not we are going
to fight our problems because the longer
you let any problem go -- and I don't care
what kind of problemyou talk about, whether
it's taxes, school problems, resource
problems, higher education, any problem
you want to talk about or any solution
you want to propose for anyone of those
very important and expensive problems,
you are not going to satisfy everybody.
Nobody expects that is going to happen,
but I think by working these things out
together and having a full disclosure of
our information and facing them forth-
rightly, then at least we can develop a
respect for one another. We may not agree,
but at least we all know that we are
motivated right and we are trying to do
the right thing to solve a very serious
problem.

So I am not going to fail to continue
to develop facts and information about our
water and maybe it will be good and maybe
it will be bad. But it is like drilling
an oil well and getting a dry hole or a
water well. At least you know the water
isn't there. That is purely negative
information but it is useful information.
You can go somewhere else to solve the
problem.

So we spend a lot of money and the
government spends a lot of money and I
suppose this is least important to the
government than it is to anyone of us
really because they don't have as many
