Contracts on <br />the Fry-Ark have been awarded for aerial surveys <br />for Turquoise, Twin Lake and Pueblo Reservoirs. <br />Air Photo Service at Grand Junction was awarded <br />the contract for Turquoise and Twin Lakes, and <br />International Aerial Mapping Company of San <br />Antonio, Texas was awarded the contract for the <br />Pueblo Reservoir. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />A contract was awarded to the Lewis Drilling <br />Company of Pueblo, for foundation exploration <br />and for determining water table elevations in <br />the vicinity of Sugar Loaf Dam which is the <br />dam for Turquoise Lake. <br /> <br />Exploration for construction materials is <br />continuing at the Ruedi Dam and Sugar Loaf Dam <br />sites. <br /> <br />Work continued in developing the program <br />and criteria for automatic data processing of <br />water and power studies concerning integration <br />of the Fry-Ark Project and the Homestake Project. <br />This means they are going to program them on the <br />electronic computer. <br /> <br />The Fryingpan-Arkansas Project now has 105 <br />employees; 39 at Pueblo, 49 in the vicinity of <br />Basalt and 17 located at Buena Vista, Colorado. <br /> <br />Thank you." <br /> <br />"Thank you, Mr. Greer.
