"Well, Dave, on the upper South Platte Unit
we don't have very much money for this year.
It is all money furnished by this Water Board,
donated by the state and others, so in this
study we visualize taking our plans at least so
far as to get water stored out in that area.
We won't have enough money to say where that goes
to or to whom it goes this year. However, we
have requested funds of our own, Missouri Basin
planning funds, for next year and hope to go
right on with that work and we can look into
that further."

"Then I understand, as a part of this investi-
gation, this will be included?"

"Yes. It certainly will be considered and
this year we will try to get the plan to store
water out east, to put it in position so we can
look at these lands later."

"Mr. Milenski."

"When do you expect to have the final draft
on the operating principles of the Trinidad
Project ready?"

"We should have it in December sometime;
about the middle of December, I hope. This
would, of course, be the irrigation phase. The
Corps is responsible for the rest of it."

"Thank you."

"Any other questions from members of the
Board?"

"I'd like to ask - I've forgotten - how
many acres in the st. Franics Unit is within
the State of Colorado?"

"All of the St. Francis Unit is within the
State of Colorado. It has been about six years
since I worked on that, Dave. There are two
figures that stick in my mind, 2,000 and 6,000.
Do you know which it is? It's somewhere in
there. "
