Mountain and Lily Park sites to determine whether feasibility
investigations of a Juniper irrigation and power project will
be justified. The studies programed for F.Y. 1960 and F.Y.
1961 will inventory the possibilities and indicate a plan or
plans to be considered in feasibility studies. We have been
advised that the Colorado River Water Conservancy District is
- preparing topography for Juniper Reservoir site, and that this
topography will be available for ,our use when completed.

, Other Pro iects. Progress on the West Divide, Dallas
Creek and San Miguel projects is fairly routine. Preliminary
field inspections and spot checks show promise of realizing a
great~r acreage of irrigable project lands on Log Hill Mesa in
the Dallas Creek project. Anticipated fund curtailments on
future year programs have resulted in delays in the previously
indicated report completion dates~ Reports for these' projects
now are scheduled as follows: West Divide - December 1962,
Dallas Creek - July 1963, and San Miguel - June 1964.

Small Proiects. On June 22, 1959, representatives of
the Blue River Irrigation Company, including their attorney and
engineer, met with Regional representatives and discussed pro-
cedures relative to an application fur a S)Ilall Projects loan.
The spurce of water supply for the project would be the water
of the Blue River diverted from the Green Mountain Reservoir.

A meeting will be held in July with representatives
of the Orchard City Irrigation District to discuss a Small
Projects loan proposal near Eckert, Colorado.

That concludes the report. Do any of
the members of the Board have any comments
in connection with that?

I think that gets us into the agenda,
but here is another memorandum before that,
that is signed by Bob Barkley:

NORTIiERN COLORADO WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT

Loveland, Colorado
June 29, 1959-
M E M 0 RAN DUM

T~: Members of the Colorado Water Conservation Board.

Your Director's Memorandum of June 4, 1959 addressed
to members o:f the Board and the Investigation Commission, noted
that the assistance of the Commission had been requested for
study of pO~9r allocation and transmission from Glen Canyon,
Curecanti and Flaming Gorge.

I

I
