"Mr. Chairman, is this Rio Grande sal-
vage limited?"

"It is limited to the water salvage."

"I move that the Director be authorized
to enter into a cooperative agreement with
the Bureau of Reclamation in the amount of
$10,000 for the Rio Grande Salvage project."

"I second the motion."

"It has been moved and seconded that the
Director be authorized to enter into a co-
operative agreement in the amount of $10,000
for the Rio Grande Salvage project. Is
there any discussion?"

"I would like to know as to what, if
anything, the two conservancy districts
within the area are contributing to these
investigations'?"

"I can't answer that."

"As far as this particular investigation
is concerned I don't know of any contribu-
tions being made by the conservancy dis-
tricts."

A short discussion was held by Mr. Sparks and Mr.
Sweet on contributions by the districts in question.

favor of the motion will signify by saying
'aye'; opposed - it is ordered passed.

As you will notice we will have a
balance in our funds available of approxi-
mately $60,000. I think Larry has some
plans for that balance. Larry."

'TWe still have a balance of $60,397.71
:'in this fund. At this time it was nec-
essary to get these particular items out
of the way so the Bureau could plan for
this fiscal year. We will undoubtedly need
this balance during this coming year as
small demands will be made for a great
many projects in Colorado as work progresses.
