4.1.1.8 Make a recommendation regarding approval or
denial of any permit application for which
approval of the Permit Authority is required and
provide the basis for such recommendation.

4.1.1.9 For Special Review Uses in the Designated
Floodplain District, for all uses in the
Floodprone District (and for the development of
new mo~ile manufactured home parks, the
expansion of any existing mo~ile
manufactured home parks, or the placement of
m~~il' manufactured homes outside a m~~ile
manufactured home park in the 0~ter

request the Permit Authority to approve or deny
a Floodplain Development Permit.

4.1.2 Permit Authority

The (City Council, Board of Trustees, Board of County
Commissioners. etc.) is hereby appointed the "Permit
Authority" to interpret the regulations and assure their
implementation and enforcement. The duties of the Permit
Authority include:

4.1.2.1 Reviewing and investigating Floodplain
Development Permit applications for all
special review uses (and for mo~ile
manufactured home development in the 011lter
Y100dpliill Flood Storage Subdistrict) as
forwarded by the Administrator and receiving
recommendations thereon from the Administrator;

4.1.2.2 Determining whether the site for a proposed
use in the Floodprone District is in an
Illner/YloodpZaill Flood Conveyance
Subdistrict or an 0l1lter/YZ00dpZaill Flood
Storage Subdistrict or outside the base
floodplain; and

4.1.2.3 Granting or denying Floodplain Development
Permits pursuant to the terms of these
regulations when the Administrator is not
empowered to issue such permits or outside of
th~ base floodplain;

4.1.3 Board of Adjustment

There will be established (if it does not already
exist) a Board of Adjustment with powers and duties
provided by (Title 30, Article 28, Sections 117 and
118---Counties, Title 31. Article 23, Section .
