<br />4.1.1.8 Make a recommendation regarding approval or <br />denial of any permit application for which <br />approval of the Permit Authority is required and <br />provide the basis for such recommendation. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />4.1.1.9 For Special Review Uses in the Designated <br />Floodplain District, for all uses in the <br />Floodprone District (and for the development of <br />new mo~ile manufactured home parks, the <br />expansion of any existing mo~ile <br />manufactured home parks, or the placement of <br />m~~il' manufactured homes outside a m~~ile <br />manufactured home park in the 0~ter <br />Y100dplaill Flood Storage Subdistrict), <br />request the Permit Authority to approve or deny <br />a Floodplain Development Permit. <br /> <br />4.1.2 Permit Authority <br /> <br />The (City Council, Board of Trustees, Board of County <br />Commissioners. etc.) is hereby appointed the "Permit <br />Authority" to interpret the regulations and assure their <br />implementation and enforcement. The duties of the Permit <br />Authority include: <br /> <br />4.1.2.1 Reviewing and investigating Floodplain <br />Development Permit applications for all <br />special review uses (and for mo~ile <br />manufactured home development in the 011lter <br />Y100dpliill Flood Storage Subdistrict) as <br />forwarded by the Administrator and receiving <br />recommendations thereon from the Administrator; <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />4.1.2.2 Determining whether the site for a proposed <br />use in the Floodprone District is in an <br />Illner/YloodpZaill Flood Conveyance <br />Subdistrict or an 0l1lter/YZ00dpZaill Flood <br />Storage Subdistrict or outside the base <br />floodplain; and <br /> <br />4.1.2.3 Granting or denying Floodplain Development <br />Permits pursuant to the terms of these <br />regulations when the Administrator is not <br />empowered to issue such permits or outside of <br />th~ base floodplain; <br /> <br />4.1.3 Board of Adjustment <br /> <br />There will be established (if it does not already <br />exist) a Board of Adjustment with powers and duties <br />provided by (Title 30, Article 28, Sections 117 and <br />118---Counties, Title 31.
