Project Type: Dam enlargement <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />This $19.2 million project is the enlargement of the Green Ridge Glade Reservoir northwest of Loveland. The project <br />consists of raising the crest of the existing dam approximately 60 feet, construction of a new concrete labyrinth weir <br />spillway, and new multi-IeveI intake gate tower outlet structure. The City has contracted with Woodward-Clyde of <br />Denver to prepare the fmal design and construction contract documents. Environmental studies have been complete and <br />the City has secured all the necessary pennits to construct the project. SEMA Construction was awarded the bid in <br />January of 2003 and is currently 75% complete with the work. The project is anticipated to be complete by October of <br />2004. <br /> <br />25. Parker Water and Sanitation District <br />Authorization: Construction Fund <br />Water Source: Cherry Creek <br />Terms of Loan: $15,000,000 @4.75% for 20-years <br /> <br />County: Douglas <br />Project Yield: 16,200 acre-feet <br />Project Type: Reservoir Construction <br /> <br />The Parker Water and Sanitation District is currently in the design phase to construct the Rueter Hess Project for the <br />storage of municipal water for its 7,924 customers. The new reservoir will proVide terminal storage for use within <br />the District's existing 8,596-acre service area. The reservoir will be located 3 miles southwest of Parker on Newlin <br />Gulch. The proposed reservoir will be a Class 1 structure, 135 feet high, impounding approximately 16,200 acre-feet <br />of water. GEl Consultants, Denver, Colorado, will be putting together the fmal design and construction documents. <br />The project is tentatively scheduled to go to construction winterlspring of 2004 and be complete in January of 2005. <br /> <br />26. Arkansas Groundwater Users Association - Water Rights/Augmentation/Canal Work <br />Authorization: Construction Fund County: Pueblo <br />Water Source: Arkansas River Project Yield: 703 Acre-feet <br />Terms of Loan: $970,448 @2.50% for 3D-years Project Type: Water Rights/Canal <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />This project involves the purchase of 785 shares of Excelsior Ditch for replacement water to offset out-of-priority <br />depletions from well pumping. The project also involves the construction of a IS-acre recharge pond and enlarging <br />the Excelsior Ditch for approximately 4 miles. The ditch work is currently out to bid with work scheduled to <br />commence in April of 2004. <br /> <br />27. .Mancos Water Conservancy District - Canal Rehabilitation <br />Authorization: Severance Tax Perpetual Account County: Montezuma <br />Water Source: West Mancos River Project Yield: 9,000 acre-feet <br />Terms of Loan: $5,486,531 @2.80% for 30-years Project Type: Canal Rehabilitation <br /> <br />The Mancos Water Conservancy District supplies irrigation and municipal water within a 13,496-acre service area. <br />The District's carriage facility is over 50-years old and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation has recommended <br />rehabilitation of the inlet and outlet canals. The proposed project is to rehabilitate inlet and outlet canals to the <br />Jackson Gulch Reservoir and to replace its operational shops and headquarters. Design engineering is scheduled to <br />be complete in 2003 with construction to follow in 2004.
