Upper Platte & Beaver Canal Company - Well Augmentation Proiect <br />Authorization: Construction Fund County: Morgan - Near Fort Morgan <br />Water Source: South Platte Basin Project Yield: 32,500 acre-feet <br />Tenus of Loan: $67,500 @ 2.25% for 10-years Project T:;pe: Well Augmentation <br /> <br />The Upper Platte and Beaver Canal Company operates the Canal for the benefit of their 100 shareholders by providing <br />direct flow irrigation water to an I I,OOO-acre service area. The diversion and headgate are located on the South Platte <br />River, about one mile northeast of Fort Morgan. There are 97 junior irrigation wells under the Upper Platte and Beaver <br />system The Company will cover the depletions of these wells by constructing two recharge ponds, to be filled from the <br />Upper Platte and Beaver Canal under the Company's 1972 augmentation decree. Brent Nation, Nation Engineering <br />Services, Fort Morgan, Colorado, is the project engineer. The project is complete with a substantial completion date <br />scheduled for December 1,2003. <br /> <br />10. Victor and Margie Ouint - Ouint Augmentation Proiect <br />Authorization: Construction Fund County: Morgan - Wasbington <br />Water Source: South Platte Basin Project Yield: 1,000 acre-feet <br />Tenus of Loan: $95,000 @2.5% for30-yearsProject T:;pe: Well Augmentation <br /> <br />The Quint's own and operate and nO-acre farm located northeast of Brush, Colorado. This project involves the <br />construction of recharge wells, a recharge pond, and pipeline connecting the two. The project will generate <br />augmentation credits to cover depletions for 4 irrigation wells. The project is cWTently under construction and is <br />anticipated to be complete by April of 2004. <br /> <br />el <br /> <br />II. Mildred Rothe - Rothe Au\!:mentation Proiect <br />Authorization: Construction Fund <br />Water Source: South Platte Basin <br />Tenus of Loan: $353,482 @ 2.5% for 30-years <br /> <br />County: Morgan - Weld <br />Project Yield: 4,800 acre-feet <br />Project T:;pe: Well Augmentation <br /> <br />The Rothe's own and operate a 9,000-acre ranch near the Town of Orchard. This project involves the construction of <br />several recharge wells, augmentation wells, recharge ponds and connecting pipeline. The project when complete will <br />cover depletions for 17 irrigation wells. The project is cWTently under construction and is anticipated to be complete by <br />April 2004. <br /> <br />12. OrPhan Wells of Wiggins - Augmentation Project <br />Authorization: Construction Fund <br />Water Source: South Platte Basin <br />Tenus of Loan: $1,037,700@2.5%for30-years <br /> <br />County: Morgan <br />Project Yield: 6,000 acre-feet <br />Project T:;pe: Well Augmentation <br /> <br />The O'l'h\\Il Wells of Wiggins is a new company comprised of 31 separate agricultural operators that own 45 wells <br />which irrigated approximately 4500 acres offannIand. This project involves the construction of I recharge well, 1 <br />augmenlation well, various pipeline, and 23 recharge ponds. The project will generate augmentation credits to cover the <br />depletions for the 45 existing wells. The project is currently under construction and is anticipated to be complete by <br />November of2004. <br /> <br />13. Johnson and Edwards Ditch Companv - Augmentation Proiect <br />Authorization: Construction Fund County: MorganlWashington <br />Water Source: South Platte Basin Project Yield: 8,900 acre-feet <br />Tenus of Loan: $132,500 @ 2.5% for 30-years Project Type: Well Augmentation <br /> <br />The Johnson and Edwards Ditch Company operates the Johnson and Edwards Ditch to delivery irrigation water to a <br />3,000-acre service area. This project involves the construction of 1 recharge well, pipeline installation, 2 recharge ponds, <br />and the purchase of reservoir water. This project will generate sufficient augmentation credits to cover the Company's <br />depletions from the 12 wells they are currently operating. The project is currently under construction and is anticipated <br />to be complete by November of 2004. <br /> <br />14 Surface Creek Ditch and Reservoir Companv - Hotel Dam Rehabilitation <br />Authorization: Small Project Loan Account County: Delta <br />
