<br /> <br />Water Source: Lost Canyon Creek Project Yield: 4,287 ac. ft. <br />. Terms of Loan: $200,000@3.75% for 30-years Project Type: Reservoir and Ditch Rehab. <br /> <br />This $270,000 project is the rehabilitation ofthe Summit Reservoir Darn outlet works and the repair and improvements <br />to the Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Company's water collection and distribution facilities. The Cortez office of <br />Natural Resource Conservation Service prepared the construction plans and specifications. Construction for the <br />second to the last phase of improvements commenced in March of 1999, by Noland, Inc., of Mancos, CO., and was <br />completed in July of 1999. The fmal phase of improvements is scheduled to be designed during the winter of 2000/0 I <br />with construction to follow in the Fall of20D1. Commencement of construction is contingent upon resolving project <br />right-of-way issues. <br /> <br />4. Loveland. City of - Green Ridge Glade Reservoir Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Authorization: HB 98-1189 <br />Water Source: Big Thompson River <br />Terms of Loan: $5,000,000@4.75%for10yrs. <br /> <br />County: Larimer - W. of Loveland <br />Project Yield: 6,000 acre feet <br />Project Type: Dam enlargement <br /> <br />This $19.2 million project is the enlargement of the Green Ridge Glade Reservoir northwest of Loveland. The project <br />consists of raising the crest of the existing darn approximately 60 feet, construction of a new concrete labyrinth weir <br />spillway, and new multi-level intake gate tower outlet structure. The City has contracted with Woodward-Clyde of Denver <br />to prepare the final design and construction contract documents. Environmental studies have been complete and the City is <br />currently in the process of obtaining the necessary permits to realign the adjacent County Road. The design is scheduled <br />to be complete by December of2001, with construction to follow in June of2002. <br /> <br />5. Riverside Reservoir and Land Companv Riverside Reservoir Spillway Rehabilitation <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Authorization: SB 98-1189 <br />Water Source: South Platte River <br />Terms of Loan: $450,000 @ 3.75% for 20 yrs. <br /> <br />County: Weld - NW of Wiggins <br />Project Yield: 200 ac.ft. <br />Project Type: Spillway Rehabilitation <br /> <br />This project is the construction of an emergency spillway on the Riverside Reservoir Dam, located 11 miles northwest <br />of Wiggins in Weld County. The State Engineer has placed a storage restriction on the reservoir until an emergency <br />spillway is completed. The Riverside Reservoir and Land Company contracted with W.W. Wheeler and Associates of <br />Denver to prepare construction plans and specifications. The State Engineer's office and the Riverside Reservoir and Land <br />Company are currently evaluating alternate spillway sizes. Construction of the project is currently on-hold, pending <br />resolution of the spillway size and downstream property issues. <br /> <br />6. Tilton Lateral Incorporated - Tilton Lateral Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Authorization: Small Proj ect Loan <br />Water Source: GVIC Mainlain <br />Terms of Loan: $100,000@3.5%for3D-years <br /> <br />County: Mesa <br />Project Yield: 960 acre-feet <br />Project Type: Lateral Rehabilitation <br /> <br />The Tilton Lateral is located off headgate No. 160 of the Grand Valley Irrigation Canal (GYrC), which is located in <br />southeast Grand Junction. The Tilton Lateral Company operates the lateral to supply 36 shareholders water to irrigate a <br />177 -acre service area. The existing lateral is in poor condition and delivers only one half of its allocated water. The <br />project involves the construction of a new concrete inlet structure at the UP Railroad crossing, the placement of 2,500 <br />linear feet oflow head pipe, and the replacement of 10,000 linear feet of existing concrete ditch with high head pipe. The <br />project is currently being designed by the NRCS Grand Junction Office, and is tentatively scheduled to be constructed in <br />the fall of2001. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />7.
