MOSES: <br /> <br />"Certainly we can postpone this until <br />tha t time. <br /> <br />The next item on the agenda is the pro- <br />gress report from the Bureau of Reclamation." <br /> <br />Mr. Jerman read the following report: <br /> <br />PROGRESS REPORT FOR NOVEMBER 19, 1956 <br />MEETING OF COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD <br />DENVER - REGION 4 <br />BY REID JEmv~N, BUP~AU OF RECLAMATION <br /> <br />Collbran Project <br /> <br />Approval of the definite plan report by the Commissioner <br />and the commencement of negotiations on the repayment contract are <br />expected momentarily which should clear the way for start of con- <br />struction on Vega Dam, the initial construction feature. $1,000,000 <br />has been appropriated for this purpose following execution of a re- <br />payment contract. <br /> <br />Some concern had been expressed as to whether power pro- <br />duction could be marketed at the 8.3 mill rate needed for power <br />repayment; however, definite commitments have been received from <br />prospective power users which, in our opinion, assure sale of the <br />project power. Outside of several minor changes in the proposed <br />repayment contract that have been suggested by the Solicitor's <br />
