This will necessarily call for a termination of my
contract of employment as legal consultant for the Board.
Will you please treat this letter~s a request for termination
of my contract, and irrespective oftpe date on which the
Board may take action on this matter,lmy compensation should
terminate at this time.

It is with extreme reluctance that I terminate my
relations with the Colorado Water Conservation Board. The
work of the Board is of great importance to the State of Colo-
rado and its future, and I have been extremely proud to have
had a part in this important work.

I express my appreciation to the Board for having
been permitted to serve the Board and the State of Colorado in
this position.

as of the date requested in the body of
the letter, i. e., November 1, 1956."
