:;'U4b

MR. STAPLETON:

operations for the relocated county roads and
dam and abutments.

The land acquisition program is progress-
ing for lands required for Sugar Loaf Dam and
Turquoise Lake enlargement and Pueblo Dam and
Reservoir, including the railroad relocation.

I

On March 29, 1966, Bureau of Reclamation
personnel met with the Board of Directors of
the Twin Lakes Reservoir and Canal Company
at Ordway, Colorado, to discuss Bureau policies
and procedures used in acquiring property.

Nork is in progress on an inventory of
reports for the Upper Arkansas River Basin
from various state, local, and federal agencies
in an attempt to compile current data on water
resource development within the basin.

Regarding the Trinidad project. the Purga-
toire River Water conservancy District has
presented to the various ditch companies drafts
of proposed agreements which will serve to
support the District's master contract with the
Government for repayment of Trinidad project
costs allocated to irrigation.

All construction activities were com-
pleted on the Archer Substation and the Hayden-
Archer 230-kv. transmission line. This com-
pletes all work under the contract except minor
cleanup and installation of supervisory control
and other miscellaneous electrical equipment.

I think that completes the summary of our
report. "

"Thank you, 14r. Droskin. Are there any
questions of Mr. Droskin by members of the
Board? How about any members of our audience.
Do you have any questions of Region 7?

I

Thank you very much, Mr. Droskin. We
appreciate your being here."
