It will take about a month
for printing and assembling, making corrections
on maps, rep~inting and so forth, after we get
our comments back. I think that will be Irlith-
in the next week or two."

"Thank you."

"Mr. Jennings, will you report for Region
4, please."

"Thank you, Ben. r.1embers of the Board,
ladies and gentlemen, and guests. The eighth
and last generating unit in the Glen Canyon
powerplant was placed in commercial operation
on February 28, 1966. The total installed
generating capacity in all operating CRSP
powerplants is now 1,008,000 kilowatts. This
total is made up of 900,000 kilowatts installed
in the Glen Canyon Powerplant and 108,000 kilo-
watts installed in the Flaming Gorge Powerplant.
Due to the relatively low elevation of the
water in Lake Powell, the Glen canyon Powerplant
has a capability of producing 760,000 kilowatts
as compared to its rated capacity of 900,000
kilowatts. The cnsp powerplants are now gen-
erating more than 600,000 kilowatts to meet
peak hourly leads.

The prime contractor on Blue Mesa Dam
is making the necessary modifications in the
outlet works and in the channel downstream from
the outlet works. The completion contractor
is getting well started under his contract for
installing generating units and completing the
powerplant.

Placement of concrete in Morrow Point Dam
was resumed on March 25. The highest block
of concrete is about 103 feet above lowest
