<br />."....--;E"..J <br /> <br />Data are being collected for the Chief <br />Engineer's use in preparing feasibility de- <br />signs and eOst estimates for Two Forks site. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Preliminary work on the concluding report <br />of the Cache la poudre unit is in progress. <br /> <br />Previous studies and reports on the St. <br />Vrain unit are being evaluated. Map studies <br />of potential reservoir sites continued. <br />Studies on water resources and water require- <br />ments have been initiated. <br /> <br />On the Fryingpan-Arl~ansas project, as of <br />March 31, 1966, the prime contractor for con- <br />struction of Ruedi Dam had completed approxi- <br />mately 29 percent of the contract with 47.4 <br />percent of the contract time elapsed. Excava- <br />tion continued throughout the winter months in <br />the dam cutoff trench preparatory to placing <br />initial materials in the dam structure. <br /> <br />Work is under way on the relocation of <br />the county road around Ruedi Reservoir. <br /> <br />A land purchase contract was signed for <br />the last tract of land required for Ruedi <br />Reservoir. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The prime contractor for the construction <br />of the Divide, South Fork, and Chapman Tunnels, <br />diversions dam6, and appurtenant structures of <br />the South Side Collection System, has accom- <br />plished approximately 14 percent of the contract <br />with 23.2 percent of the contract time elapsed. <br />As of March 28, 1966, excavation of the tunnels <br />has progressed as follows - Divide, 3,200 feet; <br />South Fork, 2,516 feet; and Chapman, 4,313 <br />feet. Average daily advancement for the tunnels <br />during the month of lo1arch was as follows - <br />Divide, 18 lin~ar feet per day; South Fork, 22 <br />linear feet per day; and Chapman, 30 linear <br />feet per day. <br /> <br />The prime contractor for construction of <br />Sugar Loaf Dam and roads continued clearing <br />
