Data are being collected for the Chief
Engineer's use in preparing feasibility de-
signs and eOst estimates for Two Forks site.

Preliminary work on the concluding report
of the Cache la poudre unit is in progress.

Previous studies and reports on the St.
Vrain unit are being evaluated. Map studies
of potential reservoir sites continued.
Studies on water resources and water require-
ments have been initiated.

On the Fryingpan-Arl~ansas project, as of
March 31, 1966, the prime contractor for con-
struction of Ruedi Dam had completed approxi-
mately 29 percent of the contract with 47.4
percent of the contract time elapsed. Excava-
tion continued throughout the winter months in
the dam cutoff trench preparatory to placing
initial materials in the dam structure.

Work is under way on the relocation of
the county road around Ruedi Reservoir.

A land purchase contract was signed for
the last tract of land required for Ruedi
Reservoir.

The prime contractor for the construction
of the Divide, South Fork, and Chapman Tunnels,
diversions dam6, and appurtenant structures of
the South Side Collection System, has accom-
plished approximately 14 percent of the contract
with 23.2 percent of the contract time elapsed.
As of March 28, 1966, excavation of the tunnels
has progressed as follows - Divide, 3,200 feet;
South Fork, 2,516 feet; and Chapman, 4,313
feet. Average daily advancement for the tunnels
during the month of lo1arch was as follows -
Divide, 18 lin~ar feet per day; South Fork, 22
linear feet per day; and Chapman, 30 linear
feet per day.
