list, either on the" Water Board or on the
Advisory committee, we have additional copies
of this memorandum up here which you can
pick up when the meeting adjourns this morn-
ing. But all of you on our mailing list, the
Board and the Advisory committee, should have
copies at your home station today.

From the concensus that we were able to
get in Washington it appears that the committee
report can be completed and sent over to the
House by the 1st of June and that floor action
on the bill can be scheduled the latter part
of June or sometime during the month of July.

This is the critical time, of course,
\-lhen the bill comes up on the floor of the
House. It will take considerable effort,
considerable expense, on the part of everyone
concerned with this bill to attempt to con-
vince a majority of the congress of the merits
of the bill. tie will be getting together \.,i th
the various conservancy districts involved in
the near future to determine how much money
should be raised to finance the efforts that
must be made at that time. I think, as a
minimum sum, we in Colorado are going to have
to put up something in the neighborhood of
$5,000 and perhaps more.

tie met with the Arizona and California
people to discuss the method of financing.
Up to this time California and Arizona have
borne almost the entire burden. They have,
through their various agencies, a full time
staff working in tiashington on this bill.
tie agreed to coordinate our efforts through
the existing organization that they have.
But we will have to contribute something
financially.

That's about the highlights of it. Mr.
Chairman. perhaps the Chairman of our Ad-
