SLIZESKI: <br /> <br />scheduled for inclusion in this report are <br />those which have been given field survey <br />priorities by the member counties of the <br />Inter-County Regional planning Commission. <br />Currently, these include Lakewood and <br />McIntyre Gulches in Jefferson County; Grange <br />Hall, Sanderson and \'Jeir Gulches, Little Dry <br />Creek and Greenwood Gulch in Arapahoe County; <br />and Little Dry and Big Dry Creeks in Adams <br />County. Field survey schedules have been <br />established for Ralston and Leyden and Van <br />Bibber Creeks and for Goldsmith Gulch, Lena <br />Gulch and Dutch Creek. These surveys are <br />being provided by local forces under the <br />sponsorship of the Inter-County Regional <br />Plan~ing Commission. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />On the South platte River survey investi- <br />gation, in addition to the Bear Creek planning <br />referred to above. flood control planning is <br />proceeding on Sand and Toll Gate Creeles, and <br />the Plum and Bijou Creek basins. \'Ie have <br />initiated detailed project formulation and <br />economic analyses on Sand and Toll Gate <br />Creeks, but we must conduct additional field <br />investigations in the plum and Bijou Creek <br />basins before proceeding to more detailed <br />studies. I might add that we had our field <br />party in the plum and Bijou Creek basins last <br />week. <br /> <br />In other areas of the South Platte River <br />basin, current progress has been limited <br />principally to reconnaissance investigations <br />to supplement previous studies." <br /> <br />"Hay I ask. I read in this morning's paper <br />that there was some kind of a hearing on <br />April 26th in vlashington at which the l1ayor <br />of Denver is to appear. What is that meet- <br />ing and what is its purpose?" <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />"I believe this is the public hearing <br />which follows the Appropriations Committee <br />hearings for the purposes of the federal <br />agencies. In other words, the Corps of <br />
