This can be accomplished by implementation of a combination of

the following: designation of critical habitat, designation as a

component of the Wild and Scenic River System, and implementation

of flow and temperature regimes and new operating criteria for

the Blue Mesa complex.

Third and finally, Ashley Creek (near Dinosaur National

Monument) is an important stream segment for protection of the

razorback sucker. Similarly, the stream segment between Rifle

and Cameo on the Colorado River is important for this species.

The biological subcommittee should be requested to analyze the

available data over the next sixty days to report on measures

needed to maintain environmental conditions that are conducive to

long-term protection of this species.
