<br />expect the lack of repcrts tc delay drafting <br />cf the project feasibility repcrt. The scheduled <br />completicn date for the propcsed feasibility <br />report is February 1967. Appendices have been <br />ccmpleted in draft form fer prcject Lands, Drain- <br />age, Plan Fcrmulaticn, and Agricultural Econcmy. I <br />preparaticn of the Designs and Estimates, Oper- <br />ation and Maintenance, and Financial and Econcmic <br />Appendices is under way. <br /> <br />Water supply studies and agricultural eco. <br />ncmic studies are in progress on the Bluestone <br />prcject. As tentatively planned, the Bluestcne <br />prcject wculd prcvide water for the irrigaticn <br />cf about 1,850 acres cf full service land and <br />3,430 acres cf supplemental service land and <br />would develop about 12,000 acre-feet of munici- <br />pal and industrial water. Excess flows of Roan <br />and Parachute Creeks would be stcred in the 8,500 <br />acre-foot Mt. Logan and 8,700 acre-foct Para- <br />chute Reservoirs. Feeder canals are required as <br />beth reservcir sites are cffstream. Water re- <br />leases would be made for irrigaticn and municipal <br />and industrial uses. The Sharrard Park area cf <br />the prcject wculd be served by twc pump lifts <br />frcm the Cclcradc River with the initial lift <br />criginating at the end cf a canal to be ccn- <br />structed by ncn-federal interests. <br /> <br />Water supply and plan fcrmulaticn studies <br />are in prcgress for the Grand Mesa Project. <br />Tcpcgraphic maps cf the Electric Mcuntain ser- <br />vice canal lcc3tion are being received frcm the <br />ccntractcr but some cf these are being returned <br />fer ccrrecticn and better delineaticn cf physi- <br />cal features. A propcsed feasibility report is <br />scheduled for completion late in FY 1968. <br /> <br />Investigaticns of the Yellcw Jacket prcject <br />are prcceeding abcut on schedule. Drafts cf I <br />Project Lands and Drainage appendices have been <br />ccmpleted and are being reviewed. Design data <br />are being assembled for all prcject features. <br />Wcrk is ccntinuing en the plan Fcrmulation, <br />Water Supply, and Agricultural Eccncmy Appendices~ <br />
