The apparent low bidder is <br />Johnsen Brothers Highway and Heavy Construc- <br />tcrs, Inc., and D. H. Blattner and Sons, Inc., <br />a jcint venture (Litchfield, Minnescta), with <br />a bid cf $3,539,101. Award cf contract is pend- <br />ing. The dam will be an earth fill embankment <br />en Cimarron Creek rising 138 feet abcve the <br />streambed with a crest length of 1070 feet. <br />The Bestwick Park Project will provide a sup- <br />plemental water supply fer 4,500 acres cf <br />presently inadequately irrigated land and a <br />full water supply fer 1,600 acres of new iand. <br /> <br />The transmissicn system fer the Cclcradc <br />River Storage project is nearing ccmpleticn with <br />230-kv lines frcm Cheyenne tc Glen Canycn and <br />two 345-kv lines frcm Glen Canycn tc Phoenix in <br />cperation. The latest of these, the second Glen <br />
