Canycn-Flagstaff-Pinnacle Peak 345-kv line, was
energized in July. The Curecanti-poncha sec-
ticn of the Curecanti-Midway 230-kv line is
ccmpleted, and satisfactory progress is being
made en the Pcncha-Midway section. Sc pcwer
is being delivered to the Fcur Ccrners, in the
figurative sense, frcm the Storage prcject.

The pOWer marketing picture continues to
show imprcvement. since the last repcrt, firm
power placed under ccntract mcved up to 960,000
kilowatts fer the summer seascn and 710,000 fer
the winter, ccmpared with previcus figures of
850,000 and 625,000, respectively. pcwer reve-
nues have increased steadily and shewed a
cumulative total of $16,363,577 en August 1,
1966, ccmpared tc a little over $13 million in
June. The sales of surplus energy were discon-
tinued during the mcnth cf August and will not
be resumed until next spring. Increased sales
of firm power plus the energy required for
Hoover deficiencies, coupled with the seasonal
drop in Hoover releases, permit the meeting of
downstream needs without the need tc rescrt
to surplus energy sales at Glen Canycn for
several mcnths. The revenue tc the Stcrage
project is accumulating at a rate cf a little
over $1 mil lien per mcnth sc the little flags
in the till are beginning to shew up with the
regularity that we have been lccking forward
to. And I might make the general observaticn
that the Stcrage Project revenue picture is on
a schedule which will, during the buildup phase,
allcw meeting the financial obligaticns of the
prcject sc we are net disappcinted in any way
with respect to revenUe in the Stcrage project.

As far as the water supply and cperating
forecast in the Colorado River basin is con-
cerned, there has been little change since cur
last repcrt on June 27 and can be summarized
briefly as fcllcws:
