<br />Terms of Loan: $11,000,000@3.75% for 20-years <br /> <br />Project Type: Reservoir Enlargement <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The Colorado River Water Conservation District is located in Glenwood Spriogs and is comprised of all or part of 15 <br />counties that are in the northern half of the Colorado River drainage basin. The District conserves, uses, safeguards, <br />and develops water resources of the Colorado River and its tributaries to which the State is entitled to under the <br />Colorado River Compact. The River District in conjunction with the Upper Colorado Recovery Program are going to <br />enlarge Elkhead Reservoir by raising the existing dam 24-feet, for the purpose of obtaining additional storage to support <br />endangered fish species downstream and for municipal, industrial, and agricultural use. The project is currently in the <br />design phase and is anticipated to commence construction in early 2005 and be complete in 2007. <br /> <br />9. FL Gill H20 LLC - Well Augmentation Project <br />Authorization: Severance Tax Trust Fund County: Washington <br />Water Source: South Platte River Project Yield: 1,072 acre-feet <br />Terms of Loan: $114,750 @2.2S% for 20-years Project Type: Well Augmentation <br /> <br />The FL Gill LLC consists of 3 owners or 3 contiguous farms under the Johnson Edwards Ditch, with a combined <br />irrigated acreage of 910 acres. This project involves the construction of 4 recharge ponds, I recharge well, pipeline <br />construction, and water right purchases to offset the depletions from 4 irrigation wells. The project is being <br />designed by Brent Nation, Fort Morgan, Colorado and is scheduled for construction in the spring of 2005. <br /> <br />10. Supply Irrigation Ditch Company - Knoth Reservoir Dam Rehabilitation <br />Authorization: Construction Fund County: Boulder - N.E. of Lyons <br />Water Source: St. Vrain Creek Project Yield: 9,500 acre-feet <br />Terms of Loan: $1,700,000 @3,50% for 30-years Project Type: Dam Rehabilitation <br /> <br />The Supply Irrigation Ditch Company is proposing to rehabilitate the Knoth Reservoir for use as an equalizer, and . <br />for storage under a conditional decree for 542 acre-feet. The average annual volume diverted now is 9,500 acre- <br />feet, which will be increased to 10,040 acre-feet with the project improvements in place. The planned <br />improvements include, reshaping the upstream face of the dams and the placement of clay, installation of a toe <br />drain, construction of 200 foot long spillway, placement of rip rap, raising the dam crest on both darns to gage <br />height 30-ft., removal of two abandoned outlets, and the repair of the existing outlet to a good working condition. <br />The proposed improvements are being designed by Smith Geotechnical, of Fort Collins, Colorado with the project <br />tentatively scheduled for construction in fall of 2004. The project is tentatively on-hold pending board resolution <br />and downstream landowner issues. <br /> <br />II. Town of Coal Creek- Water Rights Purchase <br />Authorization: Construction Fund <br />Water Source: Arkansas River Basin <br />Terms of Loan: $67,500 @3.75% for 30 yrs. <br /> <br />County: Fremont <br />Project Yield: n/a <br />Project Type: Water Purchase <br /> <br />The Town of Coal Creek is located 2 miles south of the City of Florence. The Town provides water service to its <br />residents through a master metering arrangement with the City of Florence Regional Water System. Coal Creek <br />provides raw water to Florence and Florence treats the water and returns is to the Town of Coal Creek for use. <br />Coal Creek's existing water rights, dated 1884 have been out of priority give the current drought conditions. Io <br />order to mitigate this situation the Town is in the process of purchasing 100 shares from the Union Ditch Company, <br />which equates to approximately 125 acre-feet of which 34 acre-feet is allowable for consumptive use. Total cost <br />of the water purchase is approximately $75,000. <br /> <br />12. Greeley and Loveland Irrigation Company - Boyd Lake Lower Level Outlet Rehab, <br />Authorization: Construction Fund County: Larimer - Loveland <br />Water Source: South Platte River Project Yield: 37,812 acre-feet <br />Terms of Loan: $2,844,000 @ 3.00% for 30 yrs. Project Type: Reservoir Rehabilitation <br /> <br />. <br />
