<br />O.LUO <br /> <br />Toll Gate Creek basins have been separated from the South Platte <br />River basin investigation. Two dams appear to be economically <br />feasible. One dam is located on Sand Creek about 3 miles south- <br />east from Buckley Field, and the second is located on Toll Gate <br />Creek at the confluence of East and West Toll Gate Creeks. An <br />interim report on the South Platte River basin covering the Sand <br />Creek basin is tentatively scheduled for completion during Fiscal <br />Year 1969. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />d. Flood Plain Information Studies. Three volumes of <br />flood plain information for streams in the Denver area have been <br />completed to date. volume I on the South Platte has been revised <br />and was presented to the Denver Regional Council of Governments <br />during August 1968. The revisions show the effects of the Chat- <br />field and authorized Mount Carbon Reservoirs on downstream flood <br />plain areas. A fourth volume, covering several small streams, <br />is being reviewed by the Missouri River Division Office. Other <br />flood plain volumes are in preparation or are authorized for <br />practically every stream in the Denver area. Volume I for <br />Boulder, which covers Left Hand Creek, is in preparation. Other <br />studies scheduled during the Fiscal Year 1969 include: Boulder <br />and South Boulder Creeks at Boulder, St. Vrain Creek in Boulder <br />County, Spring Creek and Cache La poudre River at Fort Collins, <br />and the Cache La poudre and South Platte Rivers in the vicinity <br />of Greeley." <br /> <br />MR.
