As the members <br />of the Board will recall, at a meeting of the <br />Board in January if I remember cOJ;'rectiy, Mr. <br />Miller, Mr. Sparks and myself wefe authorized and <br />directed to have this steering committee organized <br />and we have done so with the following members: <br /> <br />From Weld County, Hugh Sloan of Keenesburg; <br />Adams County, Melvin Sarchet, Ft. Lupton; Logan <br />County, Dave Hamil, Sterling; Gedgwick County, <br />W. Bancroft Davis, Julesburgl Morgan County, <br />Cecil Osborne, Riverside Irrigation District, <br />Fort Morgan; City and County of Denver, Glenn <br />Saunders, Denver Water Board; Northern Colorado <br />Water Conservancy District, Bob Barkley, Love- <br />land; Denver Metropolitan Area, Mark Shivers, <br />Englewood; Larry Sparks representing this Board <br />and the State of Colorado; Mr. Knights represent- <br />ing the U. S. Bureau of Reclamation; and Russell <br />Wiethop of the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, <br />Omaha. <br /> <br />Larry has gone over this matter in great <br />detail with everyone Of the units invQlved and <br />we have every confidence that this.steering com- <br />mittee will be able to save valuable time in <br />working out the diff~rences and coming to a <br />complete understanding of all parties in regard <br />to this problem. <br /> <br />Dave, do you have anything you would like to <br />add about that steering committee?" <br /> <br />MR.
