<br />2. <br /> <br />Approval of Agenda*2 10: 17 - 10:22 a.m.) <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Chuck Lile reviewed proposed changes to the published agenda. Comments were made <br />by Harrison, Lile. Martineau, Sheftel, and Bill Stanton, CWCB staff. A motion was made <br />by Jackson and seconded by Harrison for approval of the agenda as amended. The <br />motion passed by unanimous (10-0) decision. Lile notified the audience of a sign up <br />sheet for speakers and requested that comments be held to approximately 5 minutes, if <br />possible. <br /> <br />3. Approval of Minutes (10:22 -10:22 a.m.) <br /> <br />Bill Stanton. CWCB staff, reported that the minutes for the September 1992 meeting at <br />Grand Junction have not been completed. Copies of the corrected minutes for the May <br />1992, July 1992, and August 1992 meetings were distributed. <br /> <br />4a. Directors' Reports, CWCB (10:22 -10:30 a.m.) <br /> <br />Chuck Lile, CWCB Director, reported on the status of his move to Denver, items in the <br />Construction Fund Annual Report, progress of the subcommittee formed to review interest <br />rate guidelines for the Construction Fund, a directors workshop he attended, changes to <br />improve efficiency at Board meetings, the need for an emergency account for water <br />resources infrastructure, personnel matters, and meetings he recently attended related to <br />the Colorado River. Chris Bridges will head the Office of Water Conservation and John <br />Kaliszewski will work on the agricultural efficiency demonstration grant program and <br />Project WET. Comments were made by Jackson and Lochhead. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />4b. Directors' Reports, Department of Natural Resources (10:30 - 10:50 a.m.) <br /> <br />Ken Salazar, DNR Executive Director, introduced Ginger Miller and Ron Keller from the <br />State Auditor's Office. Miller and Keller reviewed progress and the schedule for <br />completing the preliminary report. Salazar discussed the scope of the audit, new <br />appointments, and Amendment One issues. Meyring asked a question on HR429. <br />Discussion followed by Harrison, Meyring, Salazar, Lochhead, Lile, Jackson, and Norton. <br /> <br />4c. Directors' Reports, State Engineer (10:50 - 10:58 a.m.) <br /> <br />Hal Simpson, State Engineer, reported on preparation of an annual report for his agency, <br />in-staff training programs, the recent managers retreat, attendance at a recent Western <br />State Engineers meeting held in Montana, and Project WET.
