GOSLIN: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />lOU!:J <br /> <br />each of the interested states of the Upper <br />Colorado River Basin have had sufficient <br />opportunity to review and comment upon any <br />proposed plans for such allocation and con- <br />struction of transmission lines; and <br /> <br />That the State of Colorado feels that <br />the Upper Colorado River Commission is a <br />proper agency through which coordination can <br />be maintained of the foregoing suggested <br />liaison between the Bureau of Reclamation <br />and the interested States; and <br /> <br />That copies of this resolution be pre- <br />sented to the Governor of the State of Colo- <br />rado with a request that he forward such re- <br />solution with appropriate comment to the <br />Governors of the States of Utah, Wyoming and <br />New Mexico, to members of Colorado's Con- <br />gressional delegation, to members of the <br />Upper Colorado River Commission, to the <br />Secretary of Interior, to the Commissioner, <br />Bureau of Reclamation, and to the Director, <br />Region 4, Bureau of Reclamation.'" <br /> <br />"Do the members of the Board have any <br />comments on the motion now before us? I <br />think it would be appropriate at this time <br />to introduce Mr. IvaI Goslin, Engineer- <br />Secretary of the Upper Colorado River Com- <br />mission. IvaI, it is good to have you here. <br />Do you have any comments?" <br /> <br />"Mr. Chairman and friends, I have no <br />comment with regard to that resolution ex- <br />cept to say that I think it is very much in <br />order. I'm quite sure that all of the Com- <br />missioners on the Upper Colorado River Com- <br />mission and our office and staff will coop- <br />erate fully to implement the resolution if <br />it is adopted. I can see no areas of con- <br />flict, therefore, it certainly should be a <br />good resolution and appropriate. <br /> <br />1'd like to say at this stage that I <br />am very pleased to be here at this meeting. <br />I went on the tour yesterday with members of <br />the Board, members of the Chamber of Commerce <br />of Grand Junction and other Chambers of Com- <br />merce and interested people. I learned a <br />lot in addition to enjoying myself. I don't <br />
