"Mr. Chairman, I think the resolution
is a good one and I think the State of Colo-
rado is definitely interested in the reve-
nues from the sale of power and also for the
procurement of power within our area. I be-
lieve that we. should definitely have a voice
in where the power should go, where the trans-
mission lines should be built, and also the
revenue that is derived from the power sold.

I therefore move the adoption of the
resolution that is here presented."

"It has been regularly moved and seconded
that the resolution be adopted. I'll ask Mr.
Moses, our attorney, to read the resolution
if he will, please."

"'WHEREAS the Bureau of Reclamation is
making investigations and basic studies of
transmission lines to market Colorado River
Storage power; and

\~REAS such investigations must neces-
sarily include allocations of power to pros-
pective consumers; and

WHEREAS the State of Colorado and the
.other states of the Upper Colorado River.
Basin have a direct and vital interest in the
allocation of such power; and

WHEREAS to date the State of Colorado,
at least, has never been consulted or advised
of any plans now being formulated by the Bur-
eau of Reclamation.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

That the Bureau of Reclamation be re-
quested and required to maintain current,
close and primary liaison with the appro-
priate official agencies of the States of I
Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming rela-
tive to all matters pertaining to the allo-
cation and transmission of power to be gen-
erated by the hydro-electric facilities of
the projects authorized by the Colorado
River Storate Project Act; and

That no allocation of power or construc-
tion of transmission lines take place until
