I be- <br />lieve that we. should definitely have a voice <br />in where the power should go, where the trans- <br />mission lines should be built, and also the <br />revenue that is derived from the power sold. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I therefore move the adoption of the <br />resolution that is here presented." <br /> <br />"Second." <br /> <br />"It has been regularly moved and seconded <br />that the resolution be adopted. I'll ask Mr. <br />Moses, our attorney, to read the resolution <br />if he will, please." <br /> <br />"'WHEREAS the Bureau of Reclamation is <br />making investigations and basic studies of <br />transmission lines to market Colorado River <br />Storage power; and <br /> <br />\~REAS such investigations must neces- <br />sarily include allocations of power to pros- <br />pective consumers; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the State of Colorado and the <br />.other states of the Upper Colorado River. <br />Basin have a direct and vital interest in the <br />allocation of such power; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS to date the State of Colorado, <br />at least, has never been consulted or advised <br />of any plans now being formulated by the Bur- <br />eau of Reclamation. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> <br />That the Bureau of Reclamation be re- <br />quested and required to maintain current, <br />close and primary liaison with the appro- <br />priate official agencies of the States of I <br />Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming rela- <br />tive to all matters pertaining to the allo- <br />cation and transmission of power to be gen- <br />erated by the hydro-electric facilities of <br />the projects authorized by the Colorado <br />River Storate Project Act; and <br /> <br />That no allocation of power or construc- <br />tion of transmission lines take place until <br />
