I I would like to say that we want a full and complete discussion on all the agenda items and anything else that any members of the Board or our guests would like to bring up. As sort of a target date, I would say that the members of the Board have been in- vited to the Rotary Club noon meeting. We will adjourn promptly at ten minutes to twelve for the meeting. I don't know that we can complete the work of the Board be- fore noon. Let's hope that perhaps we can, keeping in mind that we want as much dis- cussion as is necessary on any agenda item. I know there are'many guests here today who have long distances to travel tonight, and I think if we keep that in mind, we may be able to be through before noon. The next item on the agenda is the mar- keting and transmission of Colorado River Storage project power. This comes about, as you will remember, and Larry has already sent us information on this item, because of, at least in my opinion, a seeming con- flict concerning cooperation between the Bureau and this State Board as to the devel- opment of these studies. Larry, will you get us into this matter, please?" "I think, gentlemen, the subject of this power marketing was pretty well summarized in the bulletin of August 21, 1959, or in the memorandum which was sent out on that sub- ject. In the present budget for this fiscal I year, the Bureau of Reclamation was allo- cated approximately $780,000 for the study of transmission lines. We have never re- ceived any direct information as to what the Bureau has in mind on these transmission lines. I think the Board members can realize the extreme importance to the State of Colo- rado of the marketing of Colorado River power.
