The meeting was called to order by Vice-Chairman
Stapleton at 9:30 A. M.

"We will call the meeting to order. I
would like to acknowledge the presence here
today of two of our distinguished State Sen-
ators, Senator Hestia Wilson and Senator
Rena Mary Taylor. We're delighted to have
these two ladies with us. They were very
interested, I think, in our tour yesterday
and we are delighted that they are back with
us' today.

Are there any proxies to this meeting?"

"There was, but unfortunately Mr. Gil-
dersleeve forgot to bring it. It was from
Mr. Whitten appointing Mr. Gildersleeve as
his proxy."

"Is there any objection to Mr. Gilder-
sleeve acting as proxy for Mr. Whitten at
this meeting? Hearing no objection we will
accept Mr. Gildersleeve as proxy for Mr.
Whi Hen.

I might state for our guests here at
the meeting today that I am particularly
pleased as I know you will be, to know that
all nine appointive members of the Board are
present here today. I am delighted with their
participation in these meetings and I think
this certainly shows the spirit of coopera-
tion and work which the Board has shown during
these past few years.

With the preliminaries out of the way,
we will now refer to item one on the agenda -
the minutes of the meeting of July 8, 1959.
They were submitted to you a month or so ago.
Are there any additions or corrections? I'll
entertain a motion that the minutes be ap-
proved as submitted."
