System <br /> <br />This $275.000 project is the construction of a new rural raw water irrigation and distribution <br />system in La Plata County west of Ignacio. The project consists of construction of a concrete <br />diversion structure and pump station at the Florida River, a transmission pipeline from the diversion <br />to a storage impoundment, and construction of approximately 9,000 feet of distribution pipeline <br />from the storage impoundment to the water users, RMI Environmental Services of Farmington, <br />New Mexico prepared project design. Project construction commenced September 2, 1997 by RMI <br />Environmental Services of Farmington. New Mexico (a designlbuild contractor). Project <br />completion is scheduled for May 1998 with construction currently 50% complete. <br /> <br />Farmers Independent Ditch Company - Rehabilitation of the Farmers Independent Ditch <br /> <br />Authorization: Small Project Loan Account <br />Water Source: South Platte River <br />Terms of Loan: $55.000 @ 3,75% for 30 yrs <br /> <br />County: Weld <br />Project Yield: 15.000 ac,ft. <br />Project Type: Pipeline <br /> <br />This $75,000 project is the re-construction of approximately 1,000 linear feet of 24-inch <br />diameter concrete pipeline replacing an existing open ditch in poor condition, The project is <br />located in Weld County southwest of Platteyille, The Greeley Office of the Natural Resource <br />Conservation Service prepared project design. Project construction commenced by Robb's Repair, <br />Inc. of Evans, Colorado November 10, 1997 with project completion re-scheduled for May 1998, <br />The project is currently 25% complete and on hold due to frozen ground conditions, <br /> <br />Town of Morrison - Raw Water Pipeline Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Authorization: SB 95-1115 <br />Water Source: Bear Creek <br />Terms of Loan: $504.000 @ 5% for 30 yrs <br /> <br />County: Jefferson <br />Project Yield: 625 ac.ft, <br />Project Type: Pipeline/Grit Chamber <br /> <br />This $672,000 project is the construction of a new raw water grit chamber and transmission <br />line replacing a similar functionally obsolete facility in Jefferson County for the Town of Morrison, <br />The project consists of construction of a new concrete grit chamber at the Bear Creek diversion <br />structure and the construction of approximately 900 feet of Ductile Iron and HDPE transmission <br />pipeline. McLaugWin Water Engineers, Inc. of Denver, CO prepared project design. The project <br />construction contract was awarded to J.R. Walton Construction Co, of Indian Hills. Colorado <br />September 18,1997, Construction commenced October 1, 1997, is currently 50% complete and <br />scheduled for substantial completion in June 1998. <br />
