Mr. Joe Busto
October 24,2005
Page2

served by the existing stormwater pipeline. The existing drainage system is
deficient and causes localized ponding of water during stonn events. The
relocated pipeline will correct these existing drainage deficiencies.

The relocate-d-stormwater-pipeline-will-be-constructed-by-RPMD-as-a-part-of-our
wastewater pipeline project, however RPMD is not authorized under its service
plan to provide stormwater services. Upon completion of the relocated
stormwater pipeline, the pipeline and the associated easements will be conveyed
to the City of Littleton. The City will own and maintain the relocated stormwater
pipeline.

RPMD is aware of and will comply with local, state and federal environmental
and floodplain regulations. A U.S. Army Corp of Engineers 404 permit is
currently being prepared and will cover the entire wastewater pipeline project,
including the proposed stormwater pipeline.

RPMD hereby requests that the Colorado Water Conservation Board grant
permanent and construction easements for the proposed relocated stormwater
pipeline. An easement request application, and legal descriptions for the
requested easements are included with this submittal. RPMD further requests
that relocation of the stormwater pipeline be considered a part of the wastewater
pipeline project, and that easements for the stormwater pipeline be granted at no
additional cost to RPMD.

We appreciate your consideration of this request.
Sincerely,

ROXBOROUGH PARK METROPOLITAN DISTRICT
,.-, r'
'-".., . ~~
,.-::.... j ", /

~~_ /J' A IO'V-:--'
Larry0'1Jl'6ore ---
General Manager

.

.

.
