<br />and two residences, The Division 2 Engineer's Office is concerned that another flood event this <br />year could result in further erosion of the dam and more flooding downstream. . <br /> <br />Proposed Proiect <br /> <br />The Model Land and Irrigation Company is proposing a two-phase project to remedy the <br />emergency situation as quickly as possible. All construction will be scheduled to take place this <br />summer. <br /> <br />The first phase, which is to begin in early June, involves the construction of a small temporary <br />dam and outlet pipe upstream of the existing dam to allow flow through the reservoir and to <br />provide some degree of flood protection. The second phase, which will be scheduled for <br />sometime in July or early August, will involve replacing the existing outlet conduit and outlet <br />gate tower and repairs to the dam embankment.
