That type of contract he said, <br />is for special services, and would have to go through <br />that. routine. He added that he was sure Mr. Crawford <br />knew this. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Chairman Bailey then asked if there was anything <br />further to discuss regarding the activities of the <br />Conference Committee. <br /> <br />Mr. Beaty asked who the five Engineering Consultants <br />were. Mr. Crawford gave the names of the following <br />prospective Engineering Consultants: W. F. Guyton, Joseph <br />L. Burkholder, Barry Dibble, William Day Shannon, Raymond <br />Hill, and Robert Lee Lowry. <br /> <br />Mr. Dutcher stated, ffThe Engineering Research Committee <br />will do the work in getting the dat~and will ~eport, possibly <br />in tenative form, and submit this to the Engineering con- <br />sultants (will probably work with them). Outsi~e ~gineering <br />firm will make a report.ff <br /> <br />Mr. Dille questioned whether function is to correlate <br />information and make final report to present to the Board. <br /> <br />Mr. Dutcher replied fflt is an independent review organ- <br />ization." <br /> <br />Mr. Pughe asked if we could have partial reports as we <br />go along? <br /> <br />Mr. Crawford replied that "We are depending for by far <br />the greatest portion of our really basic data on the Rec- <br />lamation service and from the U.S.G.S. and the Bureau of <br />Mines ." <br /> <br />. Mr. Riter will make every possible effort .to get the <br />data out on time.
