<br />TOWN OF MORRISON - RAW WATER PIPELINE REHABILITATION <br /> <br />. <br /> <br /> <br />The 16" HDPE Transmission Line Encased in a 22" Steel Pipe Suspended Above Bear Creek <br /> <br />Proiect Descrintion <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />This $445,000 project was the construction of a new raw water grit chamber and <br />transmission line replacing a similar functionally obsolete facility for the Town of Morrison in <br />Jefferson County, The project consisted of a new concrete grit chamber at the Bear Creek <br />diversion structure and construction of approximately 900 feet of Ductile Iron and HDPE <br />transmission pipeline along a precarious canyon wall. McLaughlin Water Engineers, Inc. of <br />Denver prepared the project design that was constructed by J.R. Walton Construction Co. of <br />Indian Hills, Colorado commencing October 1, 1997.
