MR. BARNARD ,JR. :

"The reason I asked that is that
the Governor's Committee on Natural
Resources has picked Saturday. One
Saturday a month I miss not going to a
meeting. I think personally Wednesday
is a mighty good day and I will move
then that the second Wednesday of every
other month be established as a regular
meeting date and that we meet bi-monthly
commencing with the month of September."

"Is there a second to that motion."

"Under the law we have to be
notified any way."

"Yes, you will be notified."

"I second the motion."

"It has been moved and seconded that
beginning on the second Wednesday of
September we hold meetings on the second
Wednesday of every other month.

Any further discussion? All those
in favor signify by saying 'aye'; contrary,
the same."

The motion carried unanimously.

MR. MOSES:

"Is there any other business to come
before the meeting?"

MR. STAPLETON:

"I think now, as long as we have a
new Director for the Water Board, in the
form of a pending appointment of the
Director and pending new attorney, that I
would like to express some feelings about
the direction that these two officers
should give this Board.

I first of all feel that they should
be leading, planning ahead, for the meet-
ings of this Board so they will be in much
better shape than has been done in the past.
I would like both of them to give immediate
consideration to the strengthening of this
Board1' I have in mind stenographic records
of al meetings or agendas that are fixed
five or seven days ahead of time; the in-
formation that is needed for the discussion
