LEW WILLIAMS: "I second the motion." <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />MR. MOSES: "It has been moved and seconded that the <br />matter be referred back to the Governor~~' <br />, <br /> <br />MR. STAPLETON: <br /> <br />"I would suggest that the communications <br />you have received be forwarded to the State <br />Engineer's office." <br /> <br />MR. MOSES: <br /> <br />"Those people who wrote will be so <br />advised. <br /> <br />Now we have a motion before the house. <br />Is there any further discussion? Are you <br />ready for the question? All those in favor <br />signify by saying 'aye'; opposed the same." <br /> <br />Upon vote, the motion was unanimously passed. <br /> <br />Mr. Moses called upon Mr. Barkley who appeared in behalf <br />of the Colorado Water Congress and presented each Board member <br />with a copy of a communication addressed to the Board by the <br />executive committee of the Water Congress. (See Appendix B). <br />Mr. Barkley gave a brief explanation of this letter. <br /> <br />MR. MOSES: <br /> <br />, "We will continue this immediately after <br />lunch. If there is no objection, we will now <br />adjourn for lunch." <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 12:10 P. M. <br /> <br />The meeting reconvened and was called to order by the <br />Vice-Chairman at 2:00 P. M. <br /> <br />MR. MOSES: <br /> <br />"On behalf of the Board I again want to <br />thank the Southwestern Water Conservation <br />District for a very fine lunch. We appreciated <br />it. <br />We have a good deal more on our agenda <br />today. If there is somebody who would like <br />to supplement anything Mr. Barkley said, we <br />would like to hear from them." <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. John Barnard, Jr. made a statement supplementing Mr. <br />Barkley's remarks, and moved the adoption of the plan in principle. <br />The motion was duly seconded. <br />
