"I feel very much the same way. It
seems wrong for Colorado people to try
and tell Wyoming people what they are
going to do with their water. However,
that's a peculiar situation up there in
that there are several Colorado people
who have water rights from the Snake River
below the joining of the Snake River and
the Savery. At the present time there is
a movement over there to form a conser-
vancy district. The only feeling I could
find over there was that should the Savery
be taken away from the Pot Hook project
it might mean the Pot Hook would be for-
gotten by the Bureau of Reclamation."

Dean Crawford asked Mr. Jerman of the Bureau of
Reclamation to give his views on this which he did briefly.

"Yes. I move that this matter be
tabled until a later date."

Upon vote, the motion was carried unanimously.

A short discussion on the possibility of a joint
meeting with the Wyoming authorities on this subject was
held and it was decided that the Director would make the
necessary arrangements for such a meeting.

"We have a lot of people here inter-
ested in the resolution presented by Mr.
Miller at the last meeting which we tabled
until this meeting. We want to hear Mr.
Jerman's report but we don't want to keep
these people waiting so I believe we will
go ahead with this matter now. It is
agenda item #5.

At the last meeting it was suggested
that the matter be tabled and interested
parties be given the opportunity to appear
at this meeting and state their views. I
don't know in what order we want to call
on these people.
