<br />.' <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />feasibility report for Florence, Colorado, will consist of the main report, environmental <br />assessment (or an enviromnental impact statement, if warranted), Fish and Wildlife Coordination <br />Act Report, archeological assessment, public notice, exhibits, and appendices, and will be <br />prepared in compliance with the requirements of ER 11 05-2-100. "Guidance for Conducting Civil <br />Works Planning Studies," ER 1105-2-60, "Planuing Reports," and ER 200-2-2, "Policy and <br />Procedures for the Implementation of NEPA," dated 4 March 1988. The report will be based on <br />all studies and investigations conducted and from published reports applicable to the study area. <br />The main report shall be direct, concise, and written in an easy to understand style, using ample <br />graphics, illustrations, and photographs. The main report will be a complete decision-making <br />document and, as such, will include a complete presentation of plan formulation. The main report <br />will also include the study fmdings and recommendations. <br /> <br />a. The appendices will be technical reports written for technical reviewers. The length and <br />detail of the appendices will be sufficient to cover all aspects of the subject. Graphics arld other <br />illustrations will be used to facilitate the presentation. As a minimum, appendices for the <br />following subjects will be included: <br /> <br />(1) Engineering Appendix (prepared in accordance with EC 1110-2-1150, <br />"Engineering and Design for Civil Works Projects," dated 31 May 1994), which will consist of: <br />Hydrology <br />Hydraulics <br />Civil Engineering Design <br />Cost Estimating <br />Geotechnical Data <br />(2) Economics <br />(3) Real Estate <br />(4) Enviromnental Resources <br />(5) Cultural Resources <br />(6) Recreation <br />(7) Public Involvement <br />(8) USFWS Coordination Act Report <br /> <br />b. All report originals shall be prepared on 8-lh "xlI" plain white bond paper, one side <br />only. Draft reports shall be double spaced. Final reports shall be single spaced. Plates shall be <br />11" high and folded to conform with 8-Ih" width of the main document. Sketches and photos will <br />be located on the same or opposite page from the narrative. <br /> <br />3.6 REVIEW CONTINGENCY.. This item is to be performed by the Government and the <br />sponsor. Once the studies are sufficiently complete to identify the NED plan, an Alternative <br />Formulation Briefing will be held with the District, Division and Headquarters offices of the <br />Corps along with the sponsor. Issues and comments generated during this meeting must be <br />addressed by the Albuquerque District, Corps of Engineers. The feasibility report is to be <br />submitted to the Chief of Engineers for policy review. Review comments received at any level of <br />review must be addressed by the Albuquerque District, Corps of Engineers. The amount of work <br />required from the Albuquerque District during review is determined by the number and nature of <br /> <br />SECTION B, PAGE 22 <br />
