Automatic data processing capability shall be provided, using both micro and mainframe <br />computers to manage various data and accounting requirements generated by the study. <br /> <br />f. The Quality Control plan for this study is an appendix to this document. Quality control <br />actions will be documented as described in the QC Plan. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />3,2 STUDY TEAM MEETINGS. Thisiteiil will be performed by Government and sponsor <br />representatives to the study management team. During the study period, monthly meetings will be <br />held by the study management team to review aiiddiscuss the study progress and problems. Four <br />separate work conferences will be held in the study area at a location mutually agreed upon by the <br />Corps of Engineers and the local sponsor. A written record of all conferences, meetings, <br />discussions, verbal decisions, telephone conversations, etc. on matters relevantto the work will be <br />made by the Government members of the management team. These records shall be numbered <br />sequentially and will fully identify persons participating, subjects discussed, and conclusions <br />reached, if any. All payments for transportation, subsistence, and lodging for trips, shall be <br />considered a part of study management cost and shall be included in the final accounting of study <br />cost. Technical study team meetings will be held throughout the course of the study. In addition a <br />technical review strategy session will be held early in'the process between the study team and the <br />technical review team to coordinate the review process throughout the study. <br /> <br />3.3 PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT. This item will~ perfoIDled by the Government and the <br />sponsor. The Government and the local sponsor shallairange, conduct, monitor, and evaluate two <br />separate workshop/public meetings for the purpose of incorporating public input into the Florence, <br />Colorado study. The public shall include any' affected or interested non-Corps of Engineers <br />entities. This includes other federal, regional, state, and local government entities or officials; <br />public and private organizations; and concerned individuals. . <br /> <br />The sponsor shall be responsible for providing the meeting place. The Government shall be <br />responsible for l11ailing lists, public notices, and visual aids for the meeting. The local sponsor <br />shall provide pertinent information for the mailing list. <br /> <br />3.4 CONTINGENCY. A contingency has been added to the total work effort. The purpose of <br />applying a contingency is to allow for changes in the cost estimates for the various work items <br />should the actual work reveal that additional effort is needed. The contingency amount applies to <br />both Corps in-house efforts as well as in-kind service efforts. Examples of items for which the <br />contingency would apply include: additional hydrology and hydraulics work should the expected <br />data from the developers consultants not be available in a timely manner; population and landuse <br />projections that would impact the study area; enviromnental and HTRW analysis that may become <br />necessary, especially in Arroyos 42-48; and, the inclusion of smaller arroyos in the area bounded <br />by Arroyos 42-48. <br /> <br />e 3.5 REPORT PREPARATION.
